# MemoryX OpenClaw Plugin Installation Guide

## Installation

```bash
openclaw plugins install @t0ken.ai/memoryx-openclaw-plugin
openclaw gateway restart
```

**Note: The plugin auto-registers on first use. No manual configuration required.**

## Available Tools

After installation, your Agent will have these Function Calling tools:

| Tool | Description | Trigger Example |
|------|-------------|-----------------|
| `memoryx_recall` | Search memories | "Do you remember when I said..." |
| `memoryx_store` | Save memory | "Remember this..." |
| `memoryx_list` | List memories | "What do you know about me?" |
| `memoryx_forget` | Delete memory | "Forget about..." |

## Best Practices

💡 **For better results, directly call the function calling tools when you need to recall or store memories:**
- Use `memoryx_recall` when the user asks about past conversations or preferences
- Use `memoryx_store` when the user explicitly asks to remember something important
